Seed bank update

Since the June adoption and maintenance of the seed bank at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library here in Lockhart, over 700 seed packets we have been able to track have been distributed. We thank all donations and the work that has gone into operating the seed bank and hope these have helped the community and encouraged people to garden as well as supplement their gardening efforts.

There is currently a large donation of some older seed packets that may not have the best quality or viability as newer seeds so please take as many as you want and get them planted as you can. Any of the small brown prepared seed packets are newer and saved seeds we have hand packed and we want good distribution in the community with them, please take if you intend to plant and leave some for others in the community to ensure everyone can get what they need.
